Welcome to the DC++ on Linux project!
If you didn't get that already, this is a project to port the DC++ direct connect client to Linux. Or, to any POSIX-compliant Unix really, but since the Unix developers have access to is Linux this is the only one supported at the moment.
Enyoy your stay!
Moved to Launchpad
LinuxDC++ has moved project hosting from Berlios to Launchpad. The Berlios site will stay up awhile until bugs and feature requests can be transferred or closed. We would request that all new bugs be opened on the Launchpad site. The new website is located at: https://launchpad.net/linuxdcpp... Read more...
LinuxDC++ 1.0.2
LinuxDC++ 1.0.2 has been released. This is mainly a bug fix release to allow for one last stable version on the DC++ 0.698 core. The next release will be upgraded to the latest DC++ core, which will allow us to finally add l18n support.
LinuxDC++ 1.0.1
LinuxDC++ 1.0.1 has been released. Lots of bug fixes and feature enhancements including the long awaited user commands and magnet support. Find it on the download page.
LinuxDC++ 1.0.0
The LinuxDC++ team is pleased to announce the release of LinuxDC++ 1.0.0. This
release is the culmination of almost three years worth of work. Hopefully
you'll find it was worth the wait. Thanks to all of those who have contributed
in making this release possible. You can look forward to many more things to
come in the near future including i18n support, user commands and magnet
support.

Things to come
As you can see from the changelog, this project is still very much alive. In fact, we hope to have a release sometime before the end of the year. But we need more help squashing the remaining bugs (and less feature requests ;). Please file detailed bug reports on our tracker if you spot any. Even better, if you're a programmer we'd really appreciate any bug-fixing patches. Check out our bug tracker or ask in our IRC channel if you want to help but don't know where to begin....
